 
Reservations / Payment
Unless otherwise stated, reservations are considered confirmed whether paid or not. All reservations are confirmed no less than 48-hours prior to the booking. Payment is required prior to appointments commencing.
We accept cash, money order or cheques (provided that suitable ID is available, and subject to conditions). You can also use PayPal - just click through to the sitemap and scroll down to the payment information at the bottom of the page.
Cancellation
Should it be necessary to cancel a reservation with less than 48-hours notice, a 25% cancellation fee may apply. With less than 24-hours' notice, the cancellation fee would represent 50% of the cost of the appointment. Less than 4 hours' notice a cancellation fee of 100% cost of the appointment may be applied. All cancellation fees will be waived if the space/time can be resold.
Dress Code
Appropriate clothing should be worn to all appointments so as not to hinder or distract the student and/or instructor. Shoes should not hinder, impair or distract, therefore avoid high-heeled shoes or thongs
Assessments
Skills will be assessed in a variety of ways, depending on the experience level and depth of learning. They are explained by the instructor and will be valid, reliable, fair and flexible. Assessments are through observation, question and answer, and through assignments and will help identify areas of strength and areas for improvement.
Students must advise as early as possible if there is anything, which may impair their ability to learn in order that steps may be taken to overcome them. This could include difficulties reading / writing or understanding English, colour blindness, sight or hearing impairment.
ID / Driver's Licence
The appropriate learner's or other licence must be produced before commencement of every lesson and must always be in the student's procession during the learning/teaching process.
Health / State of Mind
Should, in the opinion of the instructor, the learner display signs that are likely to be a hindrance and danger, the instructor reserves the right to terminate the session immediately. Some of the signs may include drowsiness, state of agitation, displaying signs of intoxication or substance usage, diminished alertness, aggressive, annoying or using abusive language, lack of judgement, loss of co-ordination. Should termination of the session be necessary, any fees paid will be lost.
Test
If the instructor has concerns whether the student is prepared for a test, the instructor may refuse to endorse that it proceeds until such time as the student has had more practice.
Gift Certificates
The first lesson using gift certificate[s] must be taken within 6 months of its issue date. If gift certificates are being upgraded to a package plan, the cost of the gift certificates will be accrued in full and any additional cost for the package selected is to be paid in full prior to commencement of any lessons.
